I love working with my clients and getting the opportunity to breathe life into the home buying and selling process.
I absolutely adore looking at homes with my clients, being part of the home buying journey brings me so much joy. It’s the greatest gift being able to help people sort through their needs to make one of life’s most sacred decisions. I hope to bring joy and peace to my clients as a result of my process and passion working with them. Serving my clients brings me happiness every day.
LIttleton is so special! The first time I visited Littleton was in High School and I remember thinking it was a really cool place. Later as a young mom, I drove here for Penny-Robbin Dancewear on Main Street to collect items for my daughter. Then in 2005, I moved here from Denver with my 2 kids for a fresh start.
I love how Littleton continues to grow in a very thoughtful way, between the shops on Main Street and the great places to eat, to the park system or the South Platte trail cutting right through it all, every inch is amazing. The best part of all is the people, the neighbors who have become my friends and the small business owners who continue to boost me up. This is a great place to live.
I love doing things around my home like painting a wall a new color and gardening. My husband and I enjoy having people over and sharing our space. We regularly visit art galleries around town and have an extensive collection of paintings and prints hanging on our walls. I love going for walks and getting fresh air whenever I can, one of my favorite places to walk is along the Platte River Trail. While walking in downtown Littleton, I always stop by the Chocolate Therapist for box a chocolates and Mexican Mocha.
Shannon was born in Aurora, Colorado and has lived in Colorado her whole life. She received her GED at 17 only months after dropping out of high school. Her first business venture was at age 18 selling Tupperware, this ignited her desire to own her own business, but that wasn't something that came into reality until much later in life. At 29, Shannon completed her undergraduate degree at Metro State University in finance and accounting. Being naturally skilled in math she was encouraged by family and mentors to follow a career path into accounting, however after a few stressful tax seasons working for Ernst and Young she knew it wasn't for her. By that time, she had 2 young kids on her hands who had been encouraging her to stay home full time, so she did.
In her time as a stay-at-home mom, she got involved with business ventures like Mary Kay and Melaleuca, until finding a role working with Primerica Life Insurance Co. where she worked as an agent for 15 years.
Shannon was drawn to Primerica because of her personal experience receiving the life insurance death benefit after losing her husband to cancer when he was only 49. Without a trusted guide to help her, she felt overwhelmed by grief and uncertain about how to manage the funds. It was that lost and lonely feeling that ignited a passion in her to help others in the event of her clients losing their loved ones. Working with Primerica cultivated her desire to help people develop strong financial skills and build healthy relationships with their money.
Shannon has helped dozens of small business owners through coaching, networking and mentoring, with her efforts in Primerica and through the connections she made working at Metro State University. She taught Ethics of Entrepreneurship and New Venture Creation until 2015.
In 2018 Shannon, and her husband Jerry, were looking at relocating from their home in Littleton, CO to Ashville NC. Their home was on the market for three months, a timeline that was long even before the current trends. During that time Shannon developed a connection with their agent and wanted to learn more about Real Estate, something she wanted since her early twenties. Even though it was disappointing at the moment, Jerry and Shannon took their home off the market and stayed in Littleton. In 2019 Shannon decided to learn the ropes of Real Estate and within weeks she was hosting Open Houses. Now, 5 years later, she couldn't be happier, working in the Real Estate helping people through life changing events is her dream come true. Their home not selling gave Shannon and Jerry an opportunity to become reconnected with all the things they love about Littleton and it's truly paying off!
